Do not underestimate this challenging multi-terrain course!!
That said, we are very pleased to welcome entries from disabled athletes and parents with pushchairs or buggies.
Please take a few moments to read this page.
If you would like to enter and will be a guided runner, or running with a wheelchair/pushchair/buggy please contact us as soon as possible so that we can discuss your individual requirements in detail and do what we can to safely facilitate your participation – for everyone.
We also recommend that you walk the entire course before contacting us as some sections may not be suitable for some of the heavier wheelchairs. Click on the images above to see the sections of the route which could pose a challenge.
The course includes:
- Approx 350m of school playing field
- Approx 250m of soft or rutted grass verge (depending on weather)
- A flight of wide, shallow tarmac steps to descend and ascend
- A challenging set of steep wood and rough stone chipping steps to ascend
We will not accept any entries on the day from runners with wheelchairs, pushchairs or buggies.
